Einherjer è una band di viking metal proveniente da Haugesund, in Norvegia. Fondata nel 1993, il gruppo ha pubblicato un'ampia discografia caratterizzata da influenze folk e black metal. I testi delle loro canzoni rielaborano leggende norrene, con ogni album che presenta un tema specifico. Dopo aver rilasciato l'album *Blot* nel dicembre 2003, Einherjer si è sciolta all'inizio del 2004. Nel 2008 la band ha annunciato il suo ritorno con un tour europeo estivo, che includeva performance al Wacken Open Air e al Ragnarok Festival in Germania. Tra i brani più rappresentativi di Einherjer figurano *“Norrøn Evighet”*, *“Hrafninn Fljúgur”* e *“Vinterblot”*.
