Schaft è stato un gruppo musicale industrial formatosi nel 1991 in Giappone. Il gruppo era composto da Imai Hisashi, Maki Fujii e Raymond Watts, noto per le sue collaborazioni con i gruppi KMFDM e PIG. Schaft ha pubblicato due album: "Switchblade" (1993) e "Switch Remix" (1994). Il loro sound si caratterizza per l'uso di sintetizzatori distorti, ritmi martellanti e testi spesso oscuri e provocatori. Tra i brani più rappresentativi ricordiamo "The Machine", "Switchblade" e "Cyberpunk Love Song".
