The Last Shadow Puppets sono un supergruppo britannico formatosi nel 2007 dall'incontro tra Alex Turner, frontman degli Arctic Monkeys, e Miles Kane, ex-leader di The Rascals e solista. Il duo ha collaborato per la prima volta nell'album d'esordio "The Age of the Understatement", un lavoro che fonde atmosfere glam rock anni '70 con influenze indie pop e psichedeliche. Il sound del gruppo è caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi poetici e arrangiamenti orchestrali. Oltre a Turner e Kane, la formazione include James Ford alla batteria (produttore di entrambi i dischi degli Arctic Monkeys) e Zach Dawes al basso. Nel 2016 il gruppo ha pubblicato il secondo album "Everything You've Come to Expect", che ha riscosso un grande successo di critica e pubblico. Tra le canzoni più rappresentative del gruppo ricordiamo: "The Age of the Understatement", "Standing on a Beach", "Bad Habits" e "Aviation“.
