Chris Caffery è un chitarrista statunitense nato nel 1965, noto per il suo stile virtuosistico e melodico. Ha raggiunto fama internazionale come membro fondatore della leggendaria band power metal Savatage, con cui ha collaborato dal 1987 al 2002. Durante questo periodo, Caffery ha contribuito a definire l'identità musicale del gruppo, caratterizzata da riff heavy, melodie epiche e testi narrativi. Dopo lo scioglimento di Savatage, Caffery si è unito alla Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO), un progetto orchestrale rock guidato dal compositore Paul O'Neill. Con la TSO, Caffery ha contribuito a creare spettacoli musicali epici e multimediali, caratterizzati da arrangiamenti orchestrali complessi e performance live di grande impatto. Oltre al suo lavoro con Savatage e TSO, Caffery ha collaborato con numerosi artisti, tra cui Yngwie Malmsteen e Michael Romeo. È anche un apprezzato compositore e produttore musicale. Tra i brani più rappresentativi di Chris Caffery si ricordano "Hall of the Mountain King" (Savatage), "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24" (TSO) e "The Final Sacrifice" (Caffery).
