Gov't Mule è un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi nel 1994 da musicisti provenienti dai The Allman Brothers Band. Il loro stile musicale fonde elementi di Southern rock, blues e psichedelia, creando un suono potente e originale. Considerati una delle band dal vivo più acclamate del panorama musicale contemporaneo, Gov't Mule ha pubblicato numerosi album di successo, tra cui "Mule" (1995), "Dose" (1999) e "The Deepest End" (2003). Il gruppo è guidato dal chitarrista Warren Haynes, noto per le sue performance virtuosistiche e la sua presenza scenica magnetica. Tra i brani più rappresentativi di Gov't Mule figurano "Blind Man in the Dark", "Thorazine Shuffle" e "Banks of the Deep End".
