Quiet Riot è una band heavy metal statunitense formatasi a Los Angeles nel 1975 da Randy Rhoads (chitarra) e Kelly Garni (batteria). Dopo un periodo di cambiamenti nella formazione, la band raggiunse il successo internazionale con l'album *Metal Health* del 1983, che includeva il singolo *Cum On Feel the Noize*, una cover di Slade. L'album divenne il primo disco heavy metal a raggiungere il numero uno nelle classifiche Billboard 200 negli Stati Uniti. Rhoads lasciò la band nel 1979 per unirsi ai Black Sabbath, ma la sua influenza sul sound dei Quiet Riot è ancora evidente. La formazione successiva ha continuato a pubblicare album di successo fino agli anni '90, con brani come *The Wild Boys* e *Mama Weer All Crazee Now*. Quiet Riot rimane una delle band heavy metal più influenti degli anni '80.
