Black Star Riders è un gruppo hard rock formatosi nel 2012 da alcuni membri degli storici Thin Lizzy. Il progetto nacque dall'intenzione di registrare nuovo materiale senza utilizzare il nome storico, ma l'eredità dei Thin Lizzy è evidente nell'anima musicale dei Black Star Riders. Considerati "il passo successivo nell'evoluzione della storia dei Thin Lizzy", i BSR sono una band a tempo pieno che si distingue per un sound potente e melodico, con influenze hard rock classiche e un tocco di celtic rock.
