The Black Dahlia Murder è una band di death metal proveniente da Waterford, Michigan. Il nome del gruppo deriva dall'omicidio irrisolto di Elizabeth Short, conosciuta come "Black Dahlia". Fondata nel 2001, la band ha guadagnato popolarità per il suo stile musicale aggressivo e tecnico, caratterizzato da riff veloci, growl gutturali e testi spesso oscuri e macabri. Tra i loro album più noti figurano "Unhallowed" (2003), "Nocturnal" (2007) e "Deflorate" (2011). Il gruppo ha collaborato con artisti come Cannibal Corpse e Whitechapel, consolidando la propria posizione nel panorama del death metal internazionale.
