Brent Faiyaz, pseudonimo di Christopher Brent Wood, è un cantautore statunitense nato a Columbia, nel Maryland, nel 1995. Faiyaz ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale pubblicando mixtape indipendenti e collaborando con artisti come GoldLink e A$AP Rocky. Nel 2017 ha firmato con il collettivo di produzione e etichetta discografica XO Records, fondata da The Weeknd. Il suo debutto ufficiale è stato l'EP *A.M.P.* (2018), seguito dall'album *Wasteland* nel 2023. Faiyaz è noto per la sua voce melodica e le sue sonorità R and B moderne che incorporano elementi di soul, jazz e hip-hop. Tra i suoi brani più rappresentativi figurano "Gravity", "Wasting Time" e "Talk to Me".
