Earl Sweatshirt, pseudonimo di Thebe Neruda Kgositsile, è un rapper, cantautore e produttore discografico statunitense nato nel 1994 a Los Angeles. Figlio del poeta americano Keorapetse Kgositsile, Earl ha iniziato a scrivere rap all'età di dieci anni, pubblicando i suoi primi mixtape online durante l'adolescenza. Nel 2010, si è unito al collettivo Odd Future, guadagnandosi rapidamente una reputazione per le sue rime intricate e il flow oscuro. Dopo un periodo di ritiro volontario in un collegio religioso nel 2011, Earl ha continuato a pubblicare musica con successo, collaborando con artisti come Tyler, the Creator e Kendrick Lamar.
