Death Angel è una band di thrash metal filippino-americana proveniente da Concord, in California. Attiva inizialmente dal 1982 al 1991 e poi di nuovo dal 2001, la band ha contribuito a definire il suono del thrash metal con un approccio tecnico e aggressivo. Tra i loro album più importanti si annoverano "The Ultra-Violence" (1986), considerato un classico del genere, e "Act III" (2004), che ha segnato un ritorno trionfale dopo la pausa. Death Angel è nota per le performance live intense e per il carisma di Rob Cavestany, chitarrista fondatore e leader della band. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Bored to Tears", "The Ultra-Violence" e "Seemingly Endless Time".
