Waist deep
Yeah, caught in the troubles of a young man
Still feel like I'm running, can never catch me
Head down when I'm gunning for the zen flow
What I came for
You could never stop me
And I know when I'm right
I'm that sound in the night
Straight shadow in the light, yeah
And when I got blues
I take off my shoes
And follow it down to the river
Let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now
I let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now
And I let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now
I let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now
Take, take before
The moment is gone
Just what you need from me, not what you want
Wait, wait
Wait there for me
I'll play you that song you love under the tree
You got me
And I know when you're right
You're the sound in the night
Straight shadow in my life, yeah
And when we got blues
We can take off our shoes
And follow it down to the river
Let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now (I was born to feel again)
I let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now (And I know what's in your heart)
And I let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now (And we'll let the river run)
I let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now (And we'll let the river run)
And I know what's in your heart
And we'll let the river run
Yeah, we'll let the river run
Reborn to live again
Let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now (And I know what's in your heart)
I let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now (And we'll let the river run)
And I let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now (I know what's in your heart)
I let it run by me, let it run by me
Let it run by me now (Flash floods in your heart)
Trapped underneath the stars
And we'll never be apart
And we'll let the river run
