Trials and tribulations, will I ever make it?
This fucking bullshit, I can't seem to shake it
Complacent, erase it, I'm just tryna get my tape lit
Complexity at its finest while everyone else is basic
Maybe that's my downfall 'cause I give my damn all
While these other industry niggas, they just make a bad song
And the world loves it, fuck these human puppets
I refused to be amused to the damn public
See, the shit that I stand for will always matter
Intelligence plus character when they think about him
Just a young nigga tryna make a change
Broke as fuck, just tryna make a name
The scariest thought for me is dying broke
'Cause when you stand for hope they looking at you like a joke
And when you speak the truth, they just hoping that you choke
Damn, let the motherfucking beat breathe
Lyrical assassin, lyrically insane
Lyrically got schizophrenia of the brain
See, my heart is full of pain, should be sitting on my brain
On the road to riches, I wrote this on the plane
Not United Airways, I'm talking mary jane
I even contemplated while traveling on the train
'Cause I sit on this curve and I write this song
Often I just wanna be left alone
I guess it's true what they say, there's no place like home
I called you many times but you never picked up the phone
Sometimes I just wanna scream and shout
It's the feeling that my music gives that I can't live without
Never taking it serious can make you wanna lose it
My dream is my destiny and I'm the one to choose it
Fuck this rap shit, these naysayers are plastic
Just hopped in my Ghost on my way to fuck my bad bitch
Let the motherfucking beat breathe
