The Blackout è un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi nel 2003 a Cardiff, Galles. Il loro stile musicale si colloca nell'ambito del post-hardcore e dell'emo rock, caratterizzato da sonorità aggressive e melodie orecchiabili. Tra i membri fondatori figurano Gareth Lawrence (voce), Gavin Butler (chitarra) e James Davies (batteria). Il gruppo ha pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui "The Blackout! The Blackout! The Blackout!", "We Are the Dynamite!" e "Children of the Night". Le loro canzoni sono spesso caratterizzate da testi introspettivi che affrontano temi come la frustrazione giovanile, l'alienazione e la ricerca di identità.
