Someone show me where the limelight is
It's been a while now I'm back inside this piece of shit
I don't think that I'll ever be Tinie big
But you know me, the people's emcee
Someone show me where the limelight is
It's been a while now I'm back inside this (piece of shit)
I don't think that I'll ever be Tinie big
But you know me, the people's emcee
I'm up front again with three hundred men
I'll fight to defend till I'm dying my death
It's the one called Devs with the fiery blend
I'm amped up let me hit em with the fire again
It's too much, crews duck
Get down when I come around town might better your luck
To get wherever the fuck you feel safe how comes?
I've got this terrible lust
To reinstate myself so it better be love
Cos you'd hate yourself if the enemy one
I'll be spinning MCs when I'm seventy-one
I can't stop won't stop it's Devlin son
Spilotro, in Las Vegas
Clamp who any what any one
A diamond in the ruff like me
Belongs at the front, make way chumps
Someone show me where the limelight is
It's been a while now I'm back inside this piece of shit
I don't think that I'll ever be Tinie big
But you know me, the people's emcee
Someone show me where the limelight is
It's been a while now I'm back inside this (piece of shit)
I don't think that I'll ever be Tinie big
But you know me, the people's emcee
Someone direct me directly right to the light
While I spit flows in a frenzy
Alchemy the boy's golden tell me
How I make all these elements shine
When I venture inside don't wait for the fight
The vision of a one man gentry
Who am I? Juelz Santana when he wrote "Who Am I?"
Mummy I love you don't cry
But now I'm back on my grind
My music feels real because there ain't no fibs no lies
Just trying to exist in a pit full of vipers
Shit I've been bit, it's alright, it's my time to bite
And fight for what I think's mine
Just be the perfect night
Someone show me where the limelight is
It's been a while now I'm back inside this piece of shit
I don't think that I'll ever be Tinie big
But you know me, the people's emcee
Someone show me where the limelight is
It's been a while now I'm back inside this (piece of shit)
I don't think that I'll ever be Tinie big
But you know me, the people's emcee
It's the people's champ, the emcees' emcee
I ain't got the most Ps in the bank
But I've got a lot of people that thank this man
For the fact that I helped them through when I
Came through when they needed batch
Of tunes I dispatched to which a lot of yous got attached
If you saw the sincerity when I sat with the pen and the pad
These bars and a reader's lamp
You see me, the energy that I need when I wanna be set free from the clamps
There's people ahead of me I'll run upon them readily and merrily and put 'em in the grime scene cemetery
No need to say thanks
I just do what I do when I do it
I'm too stubborn to fall in rank
