It's all the same as it was, last night, morning
Hits her in the face, cold wind
Someone is growing inside
And the feeling of fear spreads through her mind
A positive sign, on a stick, made of plastic
Hides?it?in?a drawer by?her bed
Makes her?way down to the door
Grabs her bag, Mum and Dad ask is she alright
Oh no, the smile is fake
She's gonna tell him today
When you hadn't thought this would happen
And you really wish it wasn't happening
When fate takes you and it spins you around
And you're lost
You're lost
Doctor said "I prefer that you spoke to your parents"
No
So the boy and the girl sat at school alone
He asks what's inside her, will it know
If you take the pill
One, two, three
Breathe slowly, everything's fine
Tries to be like the men he's seen online
Make a joke, smile, say "It's all alright"
She laughs, he knows that it's fake
They know that everything's changed
When you hadn't thought this would happen
And you really wish it wasn't happening
When fate takes you and it spins you around
When you hadn't thought this would happen
And you really wish it wasn't happening
When fate takes you and it spins you around
And you're lost
You're lost
Lying in bed that night, she hasn't slept yet
Visions of a child like her that haven't stopped yet
She'd usually cry
She'd usually call him but she doesn't feel like calling
He sits alone at home with the door closed
Thinking it over alone with the door closed
There's tears in his eyes
The secret he's held catches up and he knows that
When you hadn't thought this would happen
And you really wish it wasn't happening
When fate takes you and it spins you around
But the summer brings a warming light
And you can feel the crawling time
It's silent and slow but you will get home
When you're lost
And you're lost
