Arjen Anthony Lucassen (1964) è un musicista olandese noto per la sua versatilità e il suo approccio innovativo alla musica progressive. Fondatore di progetti musicali come Ayreon, Star One e Stream of Passion, Lucassen si distingue per la sua capacità di creare mondi sonori complessi e narrativi, spesso ispirati a temi fantastici e filosofici. Il suo stile musicale fonde elementi di rock progressivo, metal sinfonico, jazz e musica classica, creando un'esperienza sonora unica e coinvolgente. 1994 vede la nascita di Ayreon, progetto solista che ha raggiunto grande successo con album come 'The Final Experiment' (1998) e 'Universal Migrator Part 1: The Dream Sequencer' (2000).
