Give me a moment to think
Give me a moment to blink
Give me a moment to get it all together
Livin' in a brand new word with a brand new way that the people think
And I can't get it done no I can't get numb
Feel like Rudi on the run from the Destrehan
Don't test me, man
I'm blessed to have a fam
But still a man with problems
And I can't solve em
Some days it feels like I'm not evolvin'
More like all of em, fuck that
I'ma take em to another plane of existence
Off in the distance, bumpin' Jay Dee and Nujabes
And nothin else I make this shit for the homies and myself
Why you think I made Paradise? I'm there at night
Livin' in the world, my pen write
Now gimme the light
Now gimme the light now
Now gimme the light now
Gimme-gimme-gimme the light
And we back at it again
People mad at it again
I'ma make it shatter again
Bringin' it in, follow the pen to the end
This is a random thought you think I know
But I do not get me started
This is a world that I departed
Didn't want anything I brought it
Didn't want anything I had
Didn't want anything I gave
Had me feelin' like a slave
Like I shouldn't be so brave
Shit don't matter anyway
Whether you back or center stage
Boys and girls still on the stage
Givin' everything they got
Comin' on down, they shootin' they shot
The whole audience gon' hope you rot
Hope you burn when you make it on top
'Cause everybody got, everybody got
Everybody got, everybody got problems
Why you think we end up in asylums
Everybody love an underdog til the underdog on top
Then they wanna see him drop
Put him behind bars and never free him
Tee him up for destruction
Like Doc D at the function
I don't know where I'm headin' but I'm at the junction
Losin' my mind, I follow the signs, I'm out here tryin'
I really mean that I'm not lyin'
I want em to love me (I want em to love me)
I want em to love me (I want em to love me)
I want em to love me (I want them to love me)
I want them to love me (I want them to love me)
I want them to love me (I want them to love me)
I just want em to love me (Love me yeah)
I want you to fucking lo—
I really wanna get it I wanna get it
I need it I gotta have it I really wan' em all to love me and
I really wanna get it
I gotta get it
I really wanna get it
I gotta get it
I want em all to love me yeah
I want em all to love me
Give me, give me the light to shine-shine-shine-shine
Give me, give me the light to shine-shine-shine-shine
Give me, give me the light to shine-shine-shine-shine
Give me, give me the light to shine
