Maleficentia è un gruppo musicale di genere death metal oscuro, attivo dal 2010 circa. La band ha pubblicato l'album "Under the Banner of Suffering" nel 2013. Le sonorità di Maleficentia sono caratterizzate da atmosfere cupe e distorte, riff pesanti e growl gutturali. Nonostante la scarsa visibilità mediatica, il gruppo ha raccolto un seguito fedele tra gli appassionati del genere death metal più pesante e atmosferico. Maleficentia è considerato una realtà underground di spicco nel panorama musicale metal europeo.
