Drowning Pool è una band americana di nu metal formatasi nel 1996 a Dallas, Texas. Il gruppo ha raggiunto la fama internazionale con il singolo "Bodies", estratto dall'album omonimo del 2001. La formazione attuale comprende Ryan McCombs (voce), C.J. Pierce (chitarra), Stevie Benton (basso) e Mike Luce (batteria). Drowning Pool è noto per i suoi riff pesanti, testi aggressivi e performance energiche dal vivo. Dopo il successo del primo album, la band ha continuato a pubblicare altri dischi di successo come "Sinner" (2004) e "Resilience" (2016). Tra le canzoni più rappresentative si annoverano anche "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor", "Step Up" e "37 Stitches".
