Il progetto vede la collaborazione di Dan the Automator (produttore), Del tha Funkee Homosapien (rapper) e Kid Koala (DJ). I tre artisti operano sotto i pseudonimi The Cantankerous Captain Aptos, Deltron Zero e Skiznod the Boy Wonder. L'album *Deltron 3030* è un viaggio fantascientifico nel futuro del 2030, con temi di tecnologia, società e politica. Il disco ha riscosso successo grazie a collaborazioni con artisti come Damon Albarn, Prince Paul, MC Paul Barman e Sean Paul. Nel 2001 è uscito *Deltron 3030: The Instrumentals*, una versione strumentale dell'album originale.
