Joe Goddard è un musicista e produttore britannico, noto soprattutto per essere il membro fondatore e tastierista del gruppo indie dance Hot Chip. Nato nel 1978, Goddard ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '90 con diverse collaborazioni, prima di formare i Hot Chip nel 2000 insieme a Alexis Taylor. Il gruppo ha raggiunto un successo internazionale con album come "Making Mirrors" (2012) e "In Our Heads" (2010), caratterizzati da sonorità elettroniche innovative e melodie orecchiabili. Goddard si è anche cimentato in progetti solisti, pubblicando nel 2016 l'album "Electric Ladyland", un lavoro che esplora atmosfere più sperimentali e psichedeliche rispetto al sound dei Hot Chip. Tra i brani rappresentativi di Joe Goddard figurano "Over and Over" (Hot Chip), "Ready for the Floor" (Hot Chip) e "The Beat Goes On" (Joe Goddard).
