Testo My criminal uncle Franz Nicolay

My criminal uncle

My criminal uncle crashes a garden party on a 4 day drunk,
Clears the nephew, clears the cousins
And he's, he's got visions, he's grabbing for lifelines
Living in lunatic with laughing gas
He parked his rim with a pickup truck, loaded with a half quart of wine

It's too late for him, it's too late for me,
It's too late for us, we've run out of things to be,
It's too late for him, it's too late for me,
It's too late for us, we've run out of things to be

My criminal uncle lived in a cabin on a mountain ?????
Hogging licence, a hog hung up by its heels in the yard
Got a gripe with his neighbour, bad need a favour
They say he's a back room bar
My criminal uncle smashed his car on a 6 week bender,
Flecks of white paint,
Dried animal hair on the right wheel fender,
Well don't you remember?

He says 'Why have you forsaken me, ask anyone I know, isn't this what a man's supposed to be.'
I got fooled by philosophers, he was led astray by country songs,
He's blue being lonely, driving circles in his front yard.
Cook and bottle, cock and bull
Hook and bullet business meetsings
Downstairs rumble rattle and roll,
Upstairs greetings

It's too late for him, it's too late for me,
It's too late for us, we've run out of things to be
It's too late for us, I don't know where we are,
Spinning across the heavens, travelling like some falling star
It's too late for us, I don't know where we are,
Spinning across the heavens, travelling like some falling star
