Tank è una band britannica di heavy metal, considerata uno dei pilastri del movimento NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) degli anni '80. Formatasi nel 1977 a Londra, la band ha raggiunto il successo internazionale con album come "Power of the Hunter" (1981), che include i singoli "Don't Walk Away" e "This Means War", e "The Bridge" (1983). Il loro stile musicale è caratterizzato da riff pesanti, batteria potente e testi diretti. Tra le canzoni più rappresentative si annoverano anche "Valley of Tears" e "War Machine". Dopo una serie di cambiamenti nella formazione, Tank ha continuato a registrare musica fino agli anni '90, tornando in attività nel 2005 con un nuovo album, "Still at War".
