Modern Talking è stato un duo pop tedesco formatosi a Berlino nel 1984 da Dieter Bohlen, compositore e produttore, e Thomas Anders, cantante. Il loro sound, caratterizzato da synthpop orecchiabili e testi romantici in inglese, li ha catapultati al successo internazionale durante gli anni '80. I Modern Talking hanno venduto oltre 120 milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo, diventando uno dei gruppi musicali più popolari di tutti i tempi. Tra le loro hit più famose ricordiamo "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", "Cheri, Cheri Lady" e "Brother Louie". Dopo la prima separazione nel 1987, il duo si è riunito nel 1998 per un nuovo periodo di successo. Nel 2003 hanno annunciato nuovamente lo scioglimento del gruppo.
