The Verve sono stati un gruppo musicale britannico di genere alternative rock, originario di Wigan, nell'Inghilterra nordoccidentale. Attivi dal 1989 al 2009 (con una breve reunion nel 2019), il gruppo ha raggiunto la fama internazionale con l'album *Urban Hymns* del 1997, che include i successi "Bitter Sweet Symphony", "The Drugs Don't Work" e "Lucky Man".
