Baby, taking a stance
Some people think got no chance
You think it's about a virus, yes, it is
Well, it's me and you against us
That's just my opinion
Freedom of speech
Do you have any choice in this matter?
Do you have a voice?
I knew you just wanna weep
And go back to sleep
Not seeking approval (Not seeking approval)
It's business as usual (Business as usual)
Not seeking approval (Not seeking approval)
It's business as usual (Business as usual)
My name is muck
I've run out of luck
See the cycles on parade
They just wanna enslave
The population, that's all
That just doesn't fit
Have to comply to even exist
Experts run your life
Cause you more misery and strife
But it's business as usual (Business as usual)
Not seeking approval (Not seeking approval)
It's business as usual (Business as usual)
Not seeking approval (Not seeking approval)
Baby, take a stance
Some think I don't have a chance
You think it's about a virus, yes
But it's being used against us
That's just my opinion
Freedom of speech
Do you have choice in this matter?
Do you have any voice?
Oh, you may as well weep
And go back to sleep
But it's business as usual (Business as usual)
They're not seeking approval (Not seeking approval)
For them, it's business as usual (Business as usual)
They're not seeking our approval (Not seeking approval)
It's business as usual (Business as usual)
They're not seeking approval (Not seeking approval)
It's business as usual (Business as usual)
They're not seeking our approval (Not seeking approval)
They say my name is muck
And I've run out of luck
Watch the cycles on parade
They just want to enslave
The population, that's all
Put us up against the wall
If we just don't fit
We have to comply even to exist
They're not seeking approval (Not seeking approval)
For them, it's business as usual (Business as usual)
For them, it's business as usual (Business as usual)
They're not seeking our approval (Not seeking approval)
For them, it's business as usual (Business as usual)
They're not seeking our approval (Not seeking approval)
For them, it's business as usual, what about us? (Business as usual)
They're not seeking our approval (Not seeking approval)
For them, it's business as usual (Business as usual)
But they're not seeking our approval (Not seeking approval)
For them, it's business as usual (Business as usual)
They're not seeking our approval (Not seeking approval)
You know who I'm talking about, for them, it's business as usual (Business as usual)
They're not seeking our approval (Not seeking approval)
For them, it's business as usual (Business as usual)
They're not seeking our approval (Not seeking approval)
Business as usual (Business as usual)
They're not seeking our approval, what does that mean? (Not seeking approval)
For them, it's business as usual (Business as usual)
They're not seeking our approval (Not seeking approval)
But do we agree? (Not seeking approval)
We'll have to wait and see (Not seeking approval)
But do we agree? (Not seeking approval)
We'll have to wait and see (Not seeking approval)
But do we agree? (Not seeking approval)
We'll have to wait and see (Not seeking approval)
What if we don't agree? (Not seeking approval)
We'll have to wait and see (Not seeking approval)
What if we don't agree? (Not seeking approval)
We'll have to wait and see (Not seeking approval)
What if we don't agree? (Not seeking approval)
We'll have to wait and see (Not seeking approval)
Il testo NOT SEEKING APPROVAL di VAN MORRISON è presente anche nell'album What's it gonna take? (2022)
Tra i suoi brani più celebri figurano "Brown Eyed Girl", "Gloria", "Domino" e "Into the Mystic".
