Dwight David Yoakam, nato a Kentucky nel 1956, è un cantautore e attore statunitense considerato uno dei pilastri del movimento country neotraditionalista degli anni '80. La sua musica fonde elementi di honky-tonk, bluegrass e rockabilly, creando un sound distintivo che ha influenzato generazioni di artisti.
