Parachute è una band indie pop rock proveniente da Charlottesville, Virginia. Formatasi nel 2008, il gruppo ha composto e pubblicato il suo album di debutto, *Losing Sleep*, che ha riscosso un discreto successo. Il loro sound, definito da Fly Magazine come "blue-eyed soul, adult pop, Maroon 5-style faux-funk", è caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi. Tra i brani più noti di Parachute figurano *She Is Love*, *The Way It Was* e *Kiss Me Slowly*.
