Welcome to the story of my life
It's too short to not think about,
Anything that's right for me Now and that's you being by my side,
And so I'll put up my dukes and give it a try
[Chorus]
Oh Marjorie what have you done to me?
You're all I wanna see
And you're probably the greatest girl I'll ever meet
And over anything else
It's you I'll be missin',
Let me explain what I'm going through here,
In Ohio I will miss you my dear,
I just wish that I could be nearer to the girl that makes time disappear
No one compares to a girl I knew,
Make my days seem brighter
and the skies more blue,
So I'll wait forever
Even if I have to,
And so just sing on baby and We'll make it through
[Chorus]
Oh Marjorie what have you done to me?
You're all I wanna see,
And you're probably the greatest girl I'll ever meet,
And over anything else
It's you I'll be missin',
Let me explain what I'm going through here,
In Ohio I will miss you my dear,
I just wish that I could be nearer to the girl that makes time disappear
Hold on baby it's not over yet,
Here's one thing I won't regret,
It's the times we've shared or the night we met,
And I'll never take it back or take it for granted,
Listen close and I'm sure you'll find
Exactly what's going on in mind,
So far away but not far from home,
'Cause home's not just a place you dwell in,
It's also the feelin' you get when you talk to that someone on the phone,
And she happens to be
Oh Marjorie what have you done to me?
You're all I wanna see
And you're probably the greatest girl I'll ever meet
And over anything else
It's you I'll be missin',
Let me explain what I'm going through here,
In Ohio I will miss you my dear,
I just wish that I could be nearer to the girl that makes time disappear
