Vanden Plas è un gruppo musicale di progressive metal originario di Kaiserslautern, in Germania. Fondato negli anni '80, il gruppo ha guadagnato popolarità nel panorama musicale europeo grazie al suo sound ricco e complesso, che fonde elementi di heavy metal, rock progressivo e musica classica. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Last Goodbye", "The Great Escape" e "Beyond the Horizon". Vanden Plas ha pubblicato diversi album in carriera, tra cui "Mindforce" (1996), considerato un punto di svolta per la band, e "Chronicles of Time" (2003). Il gruppo è noto per i suoi concerti energici e coinvolgenti, che spesso includono elementi teatrali.
