I Buzzcocks sono un gruppo musicale britannico di punk rock originario di Manchester, attivo dal 1976 al 1983 e poi riunitosi sporadicamente. Considerati una delle band più influenti della scena punk inglese degli anni '70, hanno contribuito a definire il sound del movimento con la loro musica veloce, orecchiabile e spesso introspettiva. Il gruppo è stato fondato da Pete Shelley (voce, chitarra) e Howard Devoto (voce), che si sono conosciuti al Manchester Polytechnic. Dopo un periodo di sperimentazione musicale, hanno adottato uno stile punk rock energico e melodico, influenzati da gruppi come The Ramones e Television. I Buzzcocks hanno pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui "Another Music in a Different Kitchen" (1978) e "Spiral Scratch" (1977), considerato il primo EP punk rock mai pubblicato. Tra le loro canzoni più famose ci sono "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)
