Abigor è una band di black metal austriaca formatasi nel 1993. Considerati uno dei pionieri del genere, hanno contribuito a definire l'estetica e il suono del black metal europeo con un approccio oscuro e atmosferico. Il loro stile musicale si caratterizza per la velocità, le atmosfere cupe e i testi spesso incentrati su temi satanici, occultistici e anti-religiosi. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Blackest Day", "Blood of the Saints" e "In Nomine Satanae". Abigor ha pubblicato numerosi album in studio, tra cui "Supreme Pain for the Mighty Ones" (1995), "Fire and Ice" (1997) e "The Final Sacrifice" (2003). La band ha collaborato con altri artisti del black metal europeo come Darkthrone e Emperor.

Il 28 aprile 1986 la cantante Graziella Franchini, in arte Lolita, veniva ritrovata esanime e sfigurata nella camera del residence di Lamezia Terme in cui viveva ormai da un pò di tempo. L'omicidio è rimasto privo di colpevoli.

La storica band mod torinese Statuto ristampa due classici della propria discografia, a partire da venerdì 13 febbraio saranno infatti disponibili per Sony Music gli album "Tempi Moderni" del 1997 e "Riskatto" del 1999. Il primo pubblicato originariamente nel 1997 torna oggi in versione doppio vinile 180 grammi e CD. "Tempi Moderni" contiene 12 canzoni in puro stile "brit e power pop" con ricchi arrangiamenti chitarristici e orchestrali, ammiccanti alle migliori produzioni di
