The Maccabees sono un gruppo indie rock britannico formatosi a Londra e originario di Brighton. Attivi dal 2004 al 2016, hanno pubblicato quattro album: *Color It In* (2007), *Wall of Arms* (2009), *Given to the Wild* (2012) e *Marks to Prove It* (2015). La band è stata apprezzata per il loro sound energico e melodico, influenzato dal post-punk e dalla musica indie britannica degli anni '80. Tra i brani più noti figurano «Pelican», «First Love», «Feel to Feel» e «Grew Up at Midnight». Dopo lo scioglimento del gruppo nel 2016, i membri hanno intrapreso progetti musicali individuali. Nel 2024 è stata annunciata la reunion della band, con concerti previsti per il 2025.
