Van Canto è un gruppo musicale tedesco di heavy metal a cappella formatosi nel 2004. Composto da sei cantanti (di cui una donna) e un batterista, il gruppo si distingue per la sua originale interpretazione del genere heavy metal senza l'utilizzo di strumenti musicali tradizionali. Le voci dei Van Canto riproducono tutti gli elementi musicali, dalle chitarre alle basse, dai drum a synth, creando un suono potente e ricco. Il loro primo album, *A Storm to Come*, è stato pubblicato nel 2006 e ha segnato l'inizio di una carriera internazionale. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano *The Final Stand*, *Ironheart* e *The Power of the Voice*. Van Canto è considerato uno dei gruppi a cappella più innovativi e talentuosi al mondo, con un seguito di appassionati in tutto il globo.
