Nada Surf è un gruppo musicale statunitense di genere alternative rock/indie rock, formatosi a New York nel 1992. Il nucleo originale del gruppo era composto da Matthew Caws (voce, chitarra), Ira Elliott (basso) e Daniel Lorca (batteria). Il loro primo album, "Let It Be", pubblicato nel 1994, ha riscosso un discreto successo grazie al singolo "Popular". La band ha attraversato periodi di pausa e cambiamenti nella formazione, ma è rimasta attiva fino ad oggi. Il loro sound si caratterizza per melodie orecchiabili, testi introspettivi e una vena indie rock che li ha inseriti nel panorama musicale alternativo degli anni '90. Tra i loro album più noti figurano "Twin Position" (1996) e "Always Love", pubblicato nel 2008. I Nada Surf sono considerati un gruppo culto, apprezzato per la loro musica autentica e il loro impegno artistico costante.
