William Henry Dean, noto come Billy Dean, è un cantautore statunitense nato nel 1957. Attivo dal 1986, ha raggiunto il successo con brani country pop come "Only Here for a Little While", "Billy the Kid" e "Somewhere Between". Il suo album di debutto omonimo del 1989 è stato un successo commerciale, raggiungendo la posizione numero 2 nella classifica Billboard Top Country Albums. Dean ha collaborato con artisti come Vince Gill e Reba McEntire. È noto per le sue melodie orecchiabili e testi che raccontano storie di vita quotidiana.
