Gerald Earl Gillum, meglio conosciuto come G-Eazy, è un rapper e produttore discografico statunitense nato a Oakland, California, nel 1988. G-Eazy ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale pubblicando mixtape indipendenti all'inizio degli anni 2010, guadagnandosi rapidamente una solida base di fan grazie al suo stile rap caratterizzato da rime intricate e melodie orecchiabili. Nel 2014 ha pubblicato il suo album di debutto "These Things Happen", che ha raggiunto la posizione numero tre nella classifica Billboard 200. L'album ha generato diversi successi, tra cui "I Mean It" e "Me, Myself and I". G-Eazy è noto per le sue collaborazioni con artisti come Bebe Rexha, Halsey e Cardi B. Tra i suoi album più recenti si annoverano "The Beautiful and Damned" (2017) e "Everything's Strange Here" (2020). G-Eazy è considerato uno dei rapper più influenti della sua generazione, grazie alla sua capacità di mescolare elementi di hip hop classico con sonorità contemporanee.
