Testo Ray of hope Jason Michael Carroll

Ray of hope

So close yet so far away
From where I wanted to be
I can't seem to notice just how far I've come
And I don't need to reduce it at all
The things you've done for me
But I swear sometimes I feel I'm out here alone

So tonight I lay me down
And send up another prayer
Ask for guidance and forgiveness
And hope there's someone's there
To hear another plead from me
For another ray of hope
'Cause it feels like I'm out here all alone

I can't be the only one
That's ever felt this way
All I know is it sure feels that way tonight
And I don't mean to bother you
With my troubled day
When there's a world full of things that still ain't right

So tonight I lay me down
And send up another prayer
Ask for guidance and forgiveness
And hope there's someone's there
To hear another plead from me
For another ray of hope
'Cause it feels like I'm out here all alone

And here's another plead from me
For another ray of hope
'Cause it feels like I'm out here all alone
