Cellador è una power metal band originaria di Omaha, Nebraska, fondata dal chitarrista Chris Petersen nel 2004. Dopo un periodo di cambiamenti nella formazione iniziale, nel 2004 Petersen ha trovato la line-up definitiva che ha rivoluzionato il sound della band verso la forma di "True Metal" che conosciamo oggi. Cellador ha firmato con Metal Blade Records dopo aver suonato in concerto con The Black Dahlia Murder.
