The Agonist è stato un gruppo musicale deathcore canadese originario di Montreal, attivo dal 2004 al 2019. Conosciuti per il loro sound aggressivo e le melodie intricate, hanno raggiunto una certa popolarità nel panorama metal underground. Il gruppo ha attraversato diverse fasi compositive, passando da sonorità più brutali a un approccio più melodicamente orientato.
