TV on the Radio è un gruppo musicale statunitense formatosi a New York nel 2001. La band, composta da Tunde Adebimpe (voce), Kyp Malone (voci, chitarra), Dave Sitek (chitarra, produzione), Jaleel Bunton (basso) e Pat Irwin (batteria), è nota per il suo sound eclettico che fonde elementi di rock alternativo, free jazz, soul, trip-hop ed electro. 2006 ha visto la pubblicazione del loro album di debutto omonimo, seguito da "Return to Cookie Mountain" nel 2008, considerato uno dei migliori album indie dell'epoca. Altri album importanti includono "Dear Science" (2010) e "Nine Types of Light" (2011). TV on the Radio è apprezzato per le sue performance dal vivo energiche e innovative, caratterizzate da un uso creativo di effetti sonori e una forte componente teatrale.
