Curren$y, pseudonimo di Shante Scott Franklin, è un rapper statunitense nato a New Orleans, Louisiana, nel 1981. Attivo dal 2007, ha guadagnato popolarità grazie al suo stile rap rilassato e introspettivo, spesso incentrato su temi come il lusso, la vita da strada e l'amore per le automobili. Curren$y è noto per aver collaborato con artisti come Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne e A$AP Rocky. Tra i suoi album più importanti figurano "Pilot Talk", "The Stoned Immaculate" e "New Orleans". Alcuni dei suoi brani più rappresentativi includono "Supernatural", "Where I'm From" e "Jet Life Music".
