Nuclear Assault è stata una band statunitense di thrash metal e crossover thrash, attiva dal 1984 al 1996. Considerati uno dei pionieri del genere crossover thrash, hanno combinato l'energia del thrash metal con influenze punk rock e hardcore. La loro musica era caratterizzata da riff veloci e aggressivi, testi politici e sociali, e un sound potente e distorto.
