Northstar è stata una band emo attiva negli anni '90 e 2000. Originaria degli Stati Uniti, il gruppo ha pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui "Is This Thing Loaded?", "Pollyanna", "Broken Parachute" e "Bobby Digital Presents". Un membro chiave della band era Cassino, che ha contribuito alla scrittura e all'interpretazione dei brani. Northstar è stata apprezzata per il suo sound emo intenso e melodico, influenzato da band come Fugazi e Jawbreaker.
