I'm not so sure where we're going
Can you tell me how to get there?
And have you been there before
I'm not so sure what you want
But you can find me out there somewhere
Stuck in some revolving door
I don't need to be rich
I don't need to be wise
But I want to be more than just a ripple in the water
I don't need to be anything
Except in your eyes
Cause I want to be more that just a ripple in the water yeah
There's so many beautiful people in unusual ways
Sometimes I feel so intimidated
So if you know where you want me
Then tell me how to get there
Across the river we created, yeah yeah
I don't need to be famous
I don't need to be king
But I want to be more that just a ripple in the water
I don't need to be first
I don't need to be your everything
But I want to be more than just a ripple in the water
I don't need to make a sunset
I don't need to make it rise
But I want to be more than just a ripple in the water
I don't need to be beautiful
Except in your eyes
Cause I want to be more
If you want it
Oh then tell me come and get it
I don't know where it is
But I'm right here
Oh I want you
And I want to come and get you
I don't know where you are
Are you out there?
If you want it
Oh then tell me that you need it
I don't know where it is
Or what it is
Or why it is
Oh if you want it here I am
So come and get me, yeah
I don't need to be strong
I don't need to be invincible
But I want to be more than just a ripple in the water
I don't want to be anything
Like an old vice principal
But I want to be more than just a ripple in the water
I don't need to be rich
I don't need to be wise
But I want to be more than just a ripple in the water
I don't need anything
Except in your eyes
Cause I want to be more than just a ripple in the water
