I'm a medicine man and a prophet
I got a bag full of dreams in my pocket
I see your boat, but I don't wanna rock it
Free your mind, let me help you unlock it
Just the sound of the times we live in
To be taking more than we're given
Sit back let your conscience go swimming
Just the sound of the times we live in
We comin' alive, just step inside
Take your medicine
It's all in the mind, just a matter of time
'Till you're on your feet again
We're making the grade, yeah we got it made
No need to be born again
We're comin' alive, just step inside
Take your medicine
I was rolling with the fooled in a jacket
I talk tough, but I know how to back it
I always got mats thrown in my racket
See the future 'cause I always had an act for it
Get you coming alive on the weekends
Where the mystery always deepens
I'll get you back online with your feelings
Get you living again on the weekends
We comin' alive, just step inside
Take your medicine
It's all in the mind, just a matter of time
'Till you're on your feet again
We're making the grade, yeah we got it made
No need to be born again
We're comin' alive, just step inside
Take your medicine
(We comin' alive, we comin' alive, we comin' alive)
(Just step inside, just step inside, just step inside)
(We comin' alive, we comin' alive, we comin' alive)
(Just take your medicine, just take your medicine, just take your medicine)
(Take your medicine, take your medicine, take your medicine)
You got a paper bag soul, let me fill it
You got legs, but you rolling with the spirits
You got a heart, won't you let me get near it?
You got magic on your mind, don't you fear it?
When they tell you the sky's the limit
It's your piece of the pie, so live it
And if the future's too bright, I can dim it
'Cause they tell you the sky's the limit
We comin' alive, just step inside
Take your medicine
It's all in the mind, just a matter of time
'Till you're on your feet again
We're making the grade, yeah we got it made
No need to be born again
We're comin' alive, just step inside
Take your medicine
