The Monolith Deathcult è un gruppo musicale hard rock attivo dal 1987. Originari di St. Louis, Missouri, gli statunitensi sono noti per il loro sound heavy metal influenzato da band come Black Sabbath e Celtic Frost. Il loro debutto, "The White Crematorium", risale al 1990 ed è considerato un classico del genere. Nel corso della loro carriera hanno pubblicato diversi album, tra cui "The Apotheosis" (1993) e "The Serpent's Tongue" (2004). Il gruppo si distingue per la sua atmosfera cupa e le performance live intense. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Deathcult", "Black Mass" e "Serpent's Tongue".
