Bullet for My Valentine è una band britannica di metalcore formatasi nel 1998 con il nome Jeff Killed John. Il gruppo, composto da Matthew Tuck (voce), Michael Paget (chitarra), Jason James (basso) e Michael Thomas (batteria), ha rapidamente guadagnato popolarità grazie al suo sound aggressivo e melodico, influenzato dal nu metal e dal heavy metal tradizionale. Il loro album di debutto, *The Poison*, pubblicato nel 2005, raggiunse il successo internazionale, con singoli come "Tears Don't Fall" e "All These Words".
