Cephalectomy è un gruppo musicale di genere death metal originario del Regno Unito. Attivo dal 2001, il gruppo si distingue per sonorità aggressive e intricate, influenzate dal thrash metal e dal black metal. Tra i loro album più noti figurano "Sign of Chaos", "Eclipsing the Dawn" e "Dark Waters Rise". Il loro stile musicale è caratterizzato da riff veloci e complessi, batteria potente e growl gutturali. Nonostante la mancanza di una forte presenza mediatica, Cephalectomy ha guadagnato un seguito fedele tra gli appassionati di death metal underground.
